Product Overview

A hydraulic fail-safe brake is a braking device designed to automatically apply braking force in the event of a hydraulic system failure, thereby ensuring equipment operational safety.Working Principle: Normally closed design.During normal operation, pressure oil fills the disc spring hydraulic cylinder. The piston rod retracts into the cylinder under hydraulic pressure, which drives the left and right brake arms to open and achieves brake release. When pressure in the hydraulic cylinder is relieved, the force generated by the disc springs is transmitted to the brake pads via the brake arms. This force acts on the brake disc to create clamping pressure, which initiates deceleration and braking.
