Q2：What do the numbers in the model designation mean?

For example, in BEd-301/6, "301" indicates a rated thrust of approximately 3,000 N, while "/6" indicates a rated stroke of 60 mm. For BEd30, the rated thrust is approximately 300 N. "/12" indicates a 120 mm stroke.

Q3：How do I select the right thrust and stroke?

Select the actuator based on the brake's required thrust and operating stroke. Standard models range from 300 to 3,000 N (BEd30 to BEd301), with standard stroke options of 50 mm, 60 mm, and 120 mm, depending on the brake configuration.

Q4：Can the actuator be customized for non-standard voltages or special operating conditions?

Yes. Custom power supply options are available, including 127 V, 220 V, 380 V, 660 V, and 1,140 V at 50/60 Hz. Special voltage or operating requirements should be discussed and confirmed when placing the order.

Q5：Does the actuator engage the brake automatically if power fails?

Yes. The actuator uses a normally closed, fail-safe design. When power is lost, hydraulic pressure drops and the spring force drives the piston and push rod back to their original positions, allowing the brake to engage quickly for safe stopping.

Q6：What is the operating time and expected service life?

For example, the BEd-301/6 has an approximate lifting time of 0.74 seconds and a lowering time of 0.5 seconds. It features a Class F insulated, non-oil-immersed motor and high-quality seals and bearings for smooth, quiet operation and long service life.

Q7：Which hydraulic oil should be used?

For ambient temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, use DB-25 hydraulic oil. For temperatures below -20°C, use YH-10 aviation hydraulic oil to maintain reliable operation in low-temperature conditions.

Q8：Do you provide safety and explosion-proof certifications?

Yes. The complete BEd series actuator is supplied with a mining product safety certificate (MCK series number) and an explosion-proof certificate, such as No. 320190855. These certifications verify the compliance of the complete unit.

Q9：What should be checked before installation?

Verify that the rated thrust on the nameplate meets the application requirements. Confirm the explosion-proof marking and certificate number, and make sure the protection rating is suitable for the installation environment. Check that all fastening bolts are securely tightened and that the explosion-proof housing is free from cracks or damage.

Q10：What routine maintenance is required?

Regularly check the brake spring compression stroke, hydraulic oil level, oil circuit, and piston rod seals. The main pivot points use self-lubricating bearings and do not require additional lubrication.

Q11：What is the typical delivery time?

Standard models are normally in stock and can be shipped within 3–5 business days after order confirmation. Non-standard or customized products, as well as large-volume orders, typically require 15–30 business days, depending on the agreed order terms.

Q12：What is the warranty period?

The standard warranty period is one year, starting from the date the equipment arrives at the factory and is installed and commissioned.

Q13：How quickly do you respond to after-sales issues?

We respond to after-sales inquiries within 24 hours and provide an initial solution. Our technical team can remotely assist on-site personnel through phone calls, video conferencing, and other communication methods.
